Filter Free...

Thanks to AP at My Dusty Uterus for the brilliant idea of Filter Free Friday!!  Today is the perfect day for shutting down my filter because I woke up in the worst mood possible.

Here's what is on on my unfiltered mind....

1. You would think I have the plague or something with the ghost town that my activity calendar has become.  I don't feel like the most fun person to be around right now and for the last two days I cry at the drop of a hat (and I could really use a beer).

I need this shirt

2. I feel like this cycle is a bust.  Why you might ask?  I feel PMS creeping in...my bitchiness, crab-ass attitude yesterday and today has me convinced that I am not pregnant.  Someone tell me this is a symptom of pregnancy- fast.  And why does the 2WW have to take soooooo loooooong?  In our world of instant gratification you'd think someone could develop an app for that.  Even I would trade my beloved Blackberry in for an iphone if Steve Jobs created the instant pregnancy notification app.

I need this app.

Well, that is my filter free post for today.  I'll try to contain my hormones until next Friday.

Bridget

  2. Good news Bridget, I am a severe bitch as a preggo. If you would like confirmation just ask my coworkers, family, and husband. They will all back me up!
I wouldn't get down just yet!!!
    Here's to bitchiness!

  3. LOVE that you adopted filter free friday! It's so liberating.

I think there should be an app that impregnates its users. So much easier than all the other methods, right? I'm sure Steve Jobs can figure this out for us.

  4. It's nice to have an un-edited vent sometimes huh!I've never been pregnant or in a 2ww yet with IVF, but just from reading so many other stories, it sounds like most people's pregnancy symptoms are the same as their AF symptoms, plus remember your hormones have taken a hammering lately so they could just be messing with ya-don't give up-hang in there!xo

(I found you from your comment on runnyyolk/elphaba's blog. I love your blog title. :-)

  12. I am in love with this post!!! Where in the world did you find that app pic??? haha. On the other hand...I hate you are feeling this way! I think those moods are likely related to the progesterone and stress. Even with a failed cycle, your period likely won't come until you stop the progesterone sooooo think positive again. Think about the baby (or babies) you will have in 9 months!!! Sending you hugs and strength :) xo

  14. LOL!!!! That app is hilarious. I just came across your blog and am now a follower. :) I had an IVF cycle in December (BFN), but I'm really holding out hope for you. We infertile women need to stick together and support each other. :) During my 2WW I was a hormonal, crazed, emotional psycho, but I think any women going through the 2WW after IVF is allowed to feel every emotion in the book. Looking forward to your BFP!!!!! :)

P.S. Those mood swings are not necessarily PMS. Progesterone, worry, etc. can do it to you. Your body goes through so much during the IVF cycle with all the hormone levels. Nothing can be read for what it is because there are so many explanations, ya know? :)
