This week will be spent seeing friends and saying goodbye. Over the years, these awesome people have seen me through some very hard times; bad relationships, the passing of my mother, and my miscarriages. They have also been there to celebrate with me; meeting Steve, getting engaged, getting married, and of course successful IVF and Emily's birth. We have laughed and cried together and shared many ups and downs. These are the best friends a person could have and I thank my lucky stars that they are mine. I am going to miss you all very much.

Saying goodbye
Only 8 days until we move.
Then comes my family. We will be celebrating Christmas on the 17th and it will be so bittersweet. I will be overjoyed to celebrate Emily's first Christmas with my family but sad that we will be saying goodbye. I will miss my family more than I can say- their support and love mean the world to me and have made me who I am today. I love you all so much!

Saying goodbyes is so tough. Thinking of you today and the upcoming weeks!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with the move! A little over a year ago we moved away from my family in CA (where i was born/raised) to KS for a job opportunity for my husband in his home town. It was tough to leave my family behind, but exciting to have new opportunities!! Sounds like it will be a great move for you guys as well!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything! I can't remember if you ever said, but why are you moving, and where are you going?
ReplyDeleteawww- so bittersweet for you i am sure :) enjoy the next 8 days!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the move! I understand the yuckiness of saying goodbye. My best friend moved out of the country and it's been terrible to not be 10 minutes apart anymore. Our friend family has made lots of adjustments with them gone, but it makes the time together now so special!
ReplyDeleteYou must be so conflicted right now. Good luck with the move and try to focus on the good (as much as you can at least). I'll be thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteAw, moves are so sad! But also exciting, too. You will meet many new friends and you will never, ever lose the ones you have. I know it's hard to leave, though.
ReplyDeleteMoving is so difficult. Have a wonderful 8 days and good luck.
ReplyDeleteNot sure where you are going or why, but moving is always tough. I moved to the next town over (about 5 minutes from my old house) at the end of August and am only JUST starting to feel settled. My advice is to give yourself time to adjust. I have enjoyed meeting my new neighbours and the new school my son is attending is awesome. Also love all the shops close to my house, but like I said, it's taken time so try not to stress about all the unpacking, it happens slowly! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI passed an award to you! I can imagine that between the baby, the moving and the holidays you wont have enough time. No worries! Take your time!! Check out the pots:
