Alrighty then, here we go.
~ I think I'm getting sick. I feel like my head might explode and my throat is scratchy. Perfect.
~ Emily and I had our first play date yesterday and it was seriously needed. It was great to get out of the house and see my friend M and her baby R who is a week and a half younger than Emily. (Emily was in serious flirt mode all day.) Swapping mom stories is the best therapy there is.
~ My baby thinks she is a newborn again. She went to bed at 7:00 like normal last night and instead of getting up once at 3:00am to eat, she got up at 11:30pm and 3:30am to eat. Then she thought it was a good idea to just stay up and cry- the whole day. I'm hoping it's just a growth spurt.
~ I have given Emily 2- 5 oz bottles of breast milk today- yay for relactation!!
~ I looked at my google reader just now and it says I don't follow any blogs....um this better get fixed pronto.

I want a mommy/baby play date! I don't have any friends with babies, except one who I hope to see this weekend. I hope you get to feeling better soon! :(

I hope you are feeling better! Since I'm 35 and all of my friends' kids are well into elementary school, I have no one to talk about poop and breastfeeding, glad you have someone to share baby stories with!
ReplyDeletePoor Emily, I'm guessing it's a growth spurt too. Being sick with a newborn around is tough, drink lots of water and eat some Oranges! I wish we could all get together and have a play date...it would be a blast and SO awesome to get to meet all the kiddos born around the same time!

ReplyDeleteDo you have a waterproof mattress pad for for a pack n play? We just put ours together and I can't imagine just putting a sheet on it if baby's diaper leaks (we are planning on using the bassinet portion for her the first month of so) Any ideas/experience?
