This weekend we had Gavin's 9 month pictures, Emily's 2 year pictures and our family pictures.....it was interesting/crazy/funny/tiring to say the least.
First, I had to figure out what everyone would wear, good lord what a task. After a few trips to the store and many discussions (which Steve pretended nicely to care about), we (I) settled on blues and greys.
We met our photographer in the afternoon; Gavin was half asleep and Emily just wanted to run wild through the park. We walked what seemed like 10 miles to different areas in the park to get different backgrounds, etc. Of course after a few minutes of walking, Emily wanted me to carry her, Steve was carrying Gavin, and we were all sweaty by the end of the shoot.
Side note- I stepped in dog crap and Emily chanted 'mommy step in poop' for the rest of the afternoon. Good times.

These are just a few I got through facebook. I'm hoping we got at least one family shot with all of us looking at the camera but I'm happy with the ones I've seen so far. Their little personalities are captured perfectly!
Haha, your captions along with each photo are hilarious! I used to love getting our pictures taken, but the last time two times we did it, maternity and newborn for Drake, it was more stressful than anything. Guess it's the season of life, but in the end I'm so glad we have them to look back on. I think your pictures are adorable and show exactly how wonderful your family is!

ReplyDeleteWow these are amazing!!!! Love that you stepped in poop, and just rolled with it! Emily and Avery even seem to have similar personalities, that sounds like something Avery would yell out constantly too!!!
ReplyDeleteI love these! And that is hilarious that Emily kept chanting that! Sounds like something B would do. Our dog peed in the house the other day and she is still saying UH OH DAR DAR PEE PEE! Awesome...

So beautiful! I love these! We're having family pictures taken this Sunday and I am SO excited! It's our first time having a professional family photo done. Isn't that ridiculous?!

ReplyDeleteI love the one of them in the grass. My guy used to scream like crazy if we put him anywhere near grass. Now he just glares at us like we're evil. Making progress :)
