Nursery pictures

We had a busy day of painting and hanging pictures in baby girl's room today!

Before paint....

Steve prepping the walls

Mid-paint...

After paint....

Our flower picture wall that Steve worked so hard on.... (we still have to get two pictures printed and the hummingbird print is on the way!)

I'm pretty sure Steve had a smile on his face the whole time he was painting, what can I say- he's amazing! We are a little nervous about how bright the walls are (although you can't tell in the pictures) but I think once we get the furniture and everything else in the room it will be ok (I hope).

  1. It's really hard to tell the color of the walls on my computer, are they a green or a yellow?

I love the pictures though!!! That was such a fantastic idea. Things are really coming along!

  2. I'm glad everything went well with painting the nursery! Ours has been the biggest headache which I'm sure I'll write about once it's (hopefully) done.

  3. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! It is bright and cheery and ofcourse it will calm a little when you put in the rest of the stuff. Tell Steve great job!

I love how you hanged the pics! I feel so honored to be on "the wall"

Keep the fun stuff coming :)

  4. I love the wall color from what I see in the picture! I want to do a muted sage green (similar to in the pic- but you say it's brighter in person) for my boy nursery idea ;) Looks great can't wait to see it's progression!

  6. The walls are green- the pictures don't show it very well. It's a benjamin moore color called sienna laurel.

  7. I think it will look great with all the furniture! Love the green. As long as you have some room darkening shades, I'd say you're good to go :)

  10. We freaked out a bit too after we painted our walls, but the color seems to soften when you get the baby furniture in...I love the color and can't wait to see the rest of the room set up!
